Sex, plastic and the future...
I live and work in the UK and have a Masters degree in graphic fine art. I have exhibited both at home and abroad professionally. Previously my work has been centered around the production of small bronze sculptures which you can see at my alternative site: contemporarybronze.com
More recently my work has veered towards a kind of three dimensional collage. Mainly incorporating plastic toys and pvc figures along with anything I find that can be rethought or recycled into something interesting and new.
There are many influences that inspire. Sex and machinery both seem to feature heavily aswell as childrens fairy tales. I enjoy juxtaposing different culture references, quite often I will create a background story and name for each piece just to enhance the works identity. Every item is made to the very highest standard. I spend a lot of time trawling the net and second hand stores in search of the 'right' pieces of weird and wonderful junk that now dominate our visual and physical experience.
